Then, out of the blue, got the call. My heart skipped a beat, not gonna lie. They said they had one allocated for me if I was still interested. Was I interested? Heck yeah, I was!
Went down there pretty much straight away. Seeing it in person, finally, after all that time thinking about it… it felt different. Heavier than I expected, in a good way. Solid. That Everose gold and steel mix, with the brown and black bezel… it just looked perfect to me.
The whole process felt surreal. Signing the papers, them sizing the bracelet. It wasn’t just about buying a watch; it felt like the end of a long pursuit, a reward for patience, I guess.
