Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with Bath & Body Works’ “Into the Night” fragrance for a while, but, you know, it can be a little pricey to keep buying. So, I went on a mission to find a good dupe – something that smells super similar but doesn’t break the bank. I started this whole thing by reading some online forums and watching a few YouTube videos. Everybody kept mentioning a few different options, so I decided to try a couple.
First Try: A Total Fail
My first attempt was a body spray from, I think, Walmart? It was some generic brand, and the packaging looked vaguely similar to “Into the Night.” I sprayed it on, and… nope. Not even close. It smelled more like, I don’t know, cheap air freshener? It was way too sweet and had this weird, almost plastic-y smell. Definitely a fail. I ended up giving that one away to my little cousin. She’s not picky.
Second Try: Getting Closer
Next, I tried a perfume oil I found on, a small online shop. The reviews were pretty good, and people specifically said it was an “Into the Night” dupe. This one was much better than the first one. It had that same dark, berry-ish vibe, but it was missing something. Maybe a little bit of the depth, that musky undertone that “Into the Night” has? I wore it a few times, and it was okay, but still not quite right.
Third Try: Success (Finally!)
Finally found it is call “midnight bloom”by Victoria’s Secret.
Okay, so here’s the breakdown of what I did:
- Researched: I spent a good amount of time looking for recommendations online.
- Tried different products: Body sprays, perfume oils – I was willing to experiment.
- Compared: I kept my original “Into the Night” on hand so I could compare the scents side-by-side.
- Read reviews: I paid close attention to what other people were saying about the dupes.
- Kept notes:I am a person who love to take notes,I make notes so I can share to anyone who have interesting.
It took a little bit of trial and error,I get my goal and I am pretty happy with it! And my wallet is definitely happier, too.
