Okay, so I’ve been meaning to check out this “Blue in Green” place in Denver for a while now. I kept hearing about it from friends, and, you know, the name itself just sounded cool. So, last weekend, I finally decided to go.
First, I looked them up online to get a feel for the place. Figured I needed to know the address, hours, all that basic stuff. I saw some pictures, read a few reviews – looked pretty promising!
Then, I grabbed my best friend. Everything’s more fun with company, right? We decided to head over there on Saturday afternoon, hoping to beat any potential dinner rush.
We drove over, and it was pretty easy to find, thankfully. I’m not the best with directions, but even I managed it without getting us lost. We found some street parking a couple blocks away and walked over.
When we got there, I was immediately struck by the vibe.
It had dim lighting, with exposed brick.
Very chill, very relaxed.
We got seated at a cozy little * server came over pretty quickly and took our drink orders. I went with simple. My friend decided to be adventurous and tried one of their specialty cocktails.
After that, we looked over the menu. Everything sounded so good, it was hard to choose!
I ended up ordering. My friend got something different, and we decided to share a little of each other’s plates.
The food arrived, and wow. It was seriously delicious. I mean, I had high expectations, but this was even better than I imagined. We savored every bite, chatting and laughing the whole time.
After we finished eating, we hung out for a bit longer, just enjoying the atmosphere. We weren’t in any rush to leave. Eventually, we paid the bill and headed out.
Honestly, the whole experience was great. Good food, good company, good vibes. I’m definitely planning to go back, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, chill place to eat in Denver.
