Okay, so I’ve been eyeing this Kith Heuer Formula 1 collab for a while. I finally decided to pull the trigger and try to snag one. Here’s how it went down.
The Hunt Begins
First, I scoured the internet for any info I could find. release dates, times, the whole nine yards. I knew these things were limited edition, so I had to be prepared.
I checked Kith’s website, and any other related online shops.
Setting Up
- I created accounts on all the relevant websites. No time to waste filling out forms when the drop happens!
- I made sure all my payment and shipping info was pre-saved. Every second counts, right?
- I set multiple alarms on my phone. I was NOT going to miss this.
The Drop
When the time finally came, I was ready. I had my computer fired up, multiple tabs open, fingers hovering over the refresh button.
The website got immediately slammed, of course. Pages were loading super slow, and I was starting to sweat. It’s always a chaotic experience with these limited releases.
I finally managed to get the watch into my cart, but then the checkout process was a nightmare. Error messages, timeouts… it was pure stress.
Victory (or Defeat?)
After what felt like an eternity, I finally got through. I saw the order confirmation screen, and I could finally breathe. I actually did it! it will be at my door soon.
It was a rush, and honestly, a bit ridiculous. But hey, that’s part of the fun, right? it’s amazing.
