Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with cars my whole life, and the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series? Forget about it. Pure dream car material. But I always wondered, like, exactly how much did that beast cost when it was new? So, I decided to finally figure out the MSRP.
First, I jumped on my computer. You know, start with the basics. I did that, and honestly, the initial results were all over the place. Some sites showed prices, but they were clearly for used models, and those prices are affected by mileage, condition, and all that jazz. I needed the original price tag.
So, I kept looking around, I tried some forums. You know, those places where car fanatics hang out. Lots of discussions, lots of opinions, but still no solid, definitive number that I felt I could really trust. It was getting a little frustrating, I’m not gonna lie.
My Little Research
- I spent hours on it, I even scrolled through endless pages of search results. I felt like I was going in circles.
- I then remembered, maybe I should try and see images, so I did.
- After a bit, I located one that showed what I was looking for.
Finally I found it! I could find the actual MSRP. It was a relief, like finally scratching that itch you couldn’t reach.
It’s pretty satisfying to finally have that number locked down. It’s one of those things that just bugged me, and now I can finally put it to rest. Plus, it gives me a better idea of just how insane that car was, even back then.
